I made the mistake of publishing a cool Christmas list and not a cheap gift list. (I thought it was cool.) Not even five minutes after the post, I got the nagging text and emails about my expensive Christmas list. I’m pretty sure by now, you know that I don’t publish my blog posts back to back. For my sanity, I’m publishing this one.
Cheap Gift Ideas
(Believe it or not, they are all under $25!)
1. Texting Gloves or Fingerless Gloves/ Fold back mittens
I can’t make up my mind on which one would be cooler to have, but I wouldn’t be disappointed to pull either out of a gift bag. Even though it’s a cheap gift, this would be very useful to the “I Can’t Go Anywhere Without My Smartphone” person.
2. Aviator Hats
I don’t know about what’s in style in the US, but in Europe, you’re nobody unless you own one. The fact that it’s extra warm is a bonus. Sometimes I’m standing in the cold wishing I had one of these. I’m just not brave enough to wear one yet. Something tells me that I will soon.
3. Hot Socks
There are quite a few brands for this product be careful with these. You do not want to leave these in the microwave too long. They really work. I have a pair in my favorite color, but I could really use another pair.
4. Demotivational Posters (Think Geek)
I can’t write too much about it. They’re funny.
5. Apps
I’m sure you know someone with an Ipad, Iphone, Ipod or something . I don’t think you’ll find a more useful or entertaining yet very cheap gift. Many apps are useless and time comsuming, but we use them anyway. My guilty pleasure… Angry Birds of course. I hopped on the Angry Birds train and I don’t feel bad about it. I didn’t have to break the bank buying the app and it keeps my husband occupied when i have him waiting on me for whatever reason. It’s one of those apps that you won’t lose interest in after a couple of minutes. There are millions of apps out there. The best part is that you can gift it directly from iTunes. You don’t need a gift card or make special shipping arrangements.
