My Electronic Christmas Gift List
Thanksgiving is over. The Black Friday madness is over. The Cyber Monday disaster is over. Now we are charging full force into the winter holiday season. I’d like to share my picks for this season in a series of categories. I won’t throw them at you all at once, but I will share a couple of lists as they are compiled.
Naturally, I tend to focus on shipping time since I have been living overseas. So, I’m going to start with the items that seem to take the longest to ship.
ELECTRONICS!
My Electronic Christmas Gift Wishlist:
1. The New Amazon Kindle Fire
We know this item well. It doesn’t ship to APO/FPO addresses, but we all manage to find a way arount this obsticle. Fromwhat I can gather, it isn’t as high tech as the iPad, or any tablet. It is an e-reader and it is an upgrade from the last Kindle. If I get one, I will definately do a live review on it.
2. The 4th Generation Ipod Touch
Do I really need to explain this? This one has a camera on it.
3. Roku LT Streaming Player
I believe that the guy in the video gives a great explanation of the Roku. I’m not sure if it will work overseas. It’s worth a try with it being so inexpensive. It will definitely put a dent in the money I blow on iTunes. Lets face it. There are many servers in cyberspace where you can download free movies and shows. The problem is that you are not downloading just movies and shows. You get a movie or show with a virus, spyware, and adware. I refuse to even put myself through the frustration of cleaning off my computer. I stick with iTunes. I think that $1.99 multiple times a week adds up over time. I think Roku might be the answer to my spending problem.
4. TomTom XXL 540TM 5-Inch Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator
I have a Tom Tom. I love it. It doesn’t have all of the bells and whistles any Garmin has, nor is it as accurate. However, it is a great value for its price and it gets the job done.
5. The Garmin Forerunner 405CX GPS Sport Watch
I have this watch in green. I absolutely love it. It’s a bit complicated for the novice, but I’m always happy with all the features I find. It keeps this gadget new for me. My cardio work out doesn’t change much so it’s not like I’m missing out by not using all of the features. However, if you know running enthusiast, this is the perfect gift.
