How Is AIDS and HIV Related To The Nintendo Wii
What better way to kick off my second post than with a campaign, huh?
I know you want to know how to get this Wii, but before I give you the details I have to ask you a few questions.
Did you know that someone in the US in infected with HIV every 9 ½ minutes? Did you know that 21% of the 1 million infected adults and adolescents in the US have no clue that they’re infected? Did you know that an estimated 46,000 young people between ages 13-24 were living with HIV in the US in 2006?
The United States annually recognizes March 10th as National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NWGHAAD); which brings me to the Red Pump Project.
The Red Pump Project was founded by Karyn Watkins and Lovette Ajayi in 2009. They organized an annual initiative to observe National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. You can read more about the Red Pump Project by visiting http://www.theredpumpproject.org.
